China exported 106,600 tonnes of aluminium foil in November, down by 7 per cent Y-o-Y and 6 per cent M-o-M. A total of 1.36 million tonnes of aluminium foil was exported from January to November, a growth of 12 from the same period last year.
The top two purchasers were India (10,500 tonnes) and Thailand (8,500 tonnes). The United States, Mexico, the United Arab Emirates, and South Korea ranked among the top ten locations. A total of 61,500 tonnes were exported to the top 10 destinations, accounting for 58 per cent of all exports.
The off-season caused a further slowdown in overseas orders. In December, the number of exports is anticipated to stay low. However, a 1.45 million tonnes increase in exports for the entire year is predicted, given the massive Q2 export volume.
