Quooker UK drives sustainability, floats EV fleet manufactured from recycled aluminium

In a journey towards sustainability, the VN5 fleet exhibits 89 per cent assembled parts made by UK companies, cutting transport costs and carbon emissions.

Moreover, the aluminium scrap produced while manufacturing will be sold in the market, with the extra earnings contributed to charity.

Quooker has claimed this latest automobile update notifies that “each van will emit 36.6 tonnes less CO2 emissions than a diesel engine over five years, saving an equivalent of 397 trees.”

These VN5 electric vans are an answer to the company’s account managers switching to eco-friendly Tesla cars.

The managing director of Quooker UK, Stephen Johnson, quoted: “At Quooker, sustainability is at the heart of all our thinking. Not only do we produce environmental-friendly products, but most significantly, we are looking to run a sustainable business. We are delighted to have teamed up with the London Electric Vehicle Company to provide our engineers with vehicles packed with an amazing set of sustainability credentials.”
