LME aluminium opened at US$2,488 per tonne on Tuesday and closed at US$2,487 per tonne, down US$1 per tonne or 0.04 per cent.
On June 28, both LME aluminium cash bid price and LME aluminium official settlement price hiked by US$46.5 per tonne or 1.89 per cent and US$47 per tonne or 1.91 per cent, to settle at US$2,499 per tonne and US$2,500 per tonne.
3-month bid price and 3-month offer price also surged by US$40.5 per tonne or 1.63 per cent and US$40 per tonne or 1.61 per cent to close at US$2,519.50 per tonne and US$2,520 per tonne.
December 23 bid price and December 23 offer price soared up by US$45 per tonne or 1.79 per cent to halt at US$2,545 per tonne and US$2,550 per tonne.
LME aluminium opening stock settled at 380675 tonnes. Live warrants and Cancelled warrants for the same day closed at 161300 tonnes and 219375 tonnes.
LME aluminium 3-month Asian Reference Price ascended by US$44.32 per tonne or 1.80 per cent to stop at US$2,502.69 per tonne.
SHFE aluminium price
On Wednesday, June 29, the SHFE benchmark aluminium price has grown by US$16 per tonne or 0.55 per cent to record at US$2,893 per tonne.
The most-traded SHFE 2208 aluminium closed up 2.34 per cent or RMB 445 per tonne to RMB 19,445 per tonne, with open interest down 4,585 lots to 194,577 lots.
The most-traded SHFE 2208 aluminium contract opened at RMB 19,445 per tonne overnight, with its low and high at RMB 19,315 per tonne and RMB 19,485 per tonne before closing at RMB 19,260 per tonne, up RMB 80 per tonne or 0.42 per cent.
