Global LCA Sustainability Automotive Congress 2022

Global LCA Sustainability Automotive Congress 2022 will be held on 13-14 July 2022 at Virtual Conference BST.

The Automotive Sustainability Community Gathers Again This July For The 3rd Event In This Industry-Leading Global Series.

At its launch in July 2021, the first event LCA and Carbon Neutral Vehicles Congress was widely supported by sustainability professionals in the automotive industry, as well as materials companies and the supply chain, and  formed the basis for the automotive sustainability community to connect on important LCA and decarbonisation topics and to actually address the practicalities of making LCA calculations for every part of the vehicle. With a follow up event for North American OEMs in January 2022, the community has developed even more widely to cover global sustainability issues as well as the specific geographical regulatory landscapes.

The next event in this very unique series will explore more LCA and Circularity issues for the European automotive industry; and will give attendees an even better opportunity to benchmark against other companies and find out what best practices are being utilised for interpreting LCA in Europe and simplifying calculation methods for individual phases and different parts of the supply chain; from

  • Raw materials extraction
  • Materials manufacturing
  • Powertrain components & battery
  • Fuel cycle and energy use… to: End of life recycling and disposal

If you need to build your knowledge and connections in this space then ensure you join over 200 other companies from the OEM tier 1- 3 supply chain by attending the LCA & Circularity Solutions for Carbon Neutral Vehicles Congress on July 13-14 this year.

Designed to assist European Automotive OEM’s and the supply chain achieve their decarbonisation and sustainability targets, this event provides genuine practical value for the sustainability community. Building on the outcomes of the previous 2 events in the series, the agenda will cover circularity innovation & new business models in practice – including repurposing factories to refresh vehicles & raise the value of components; examining easy to recycle substitutes for plastics that are cost competitive & scalable; evaluating the most efficient recycling methodologies and understanding diverse perspectives on the way ahead for battery end of life strategies.
