FocusEconomics Consensus Forecast panellists expect French industrial output to contract 8.7% in 2020, which is down 2.9% points from last month's forecast. For 2021, panellists expect industrial output growth at 4.9%. In form of powders, Aluminium powder and flakes are used for several applications such as the manufacture of slurry, explosive and detonators, thermite process used for the manufacture of Ferro-alloys and for specialised welding applications such as rails, pyrotechnic to manufacture crackers, sparkles and other pyrotechnic products.
The Western European nation’s Aluminium powder and flakes during 2018-19 have been recorded at 9730 tonnes and revenue income occurred with the export stood at $20.86 million. The export for 2020 has been marked at 6490 tonnes and income to be standing at $13.44 million, however, when the export volume and earnings for 2020 gets added with the existing two years, it resembles 16,220 tonnes and $34.30 million respectively.
In 2018, the French export stood at 4502 tonnes and earnings remained at $8.79 million, whereas, in 2019 the aluminium powder and flakes exportation saw growth by 16.12%, as the export volume rose to 5228 tonnes and earning climbed to $12.07 million.
The export for 2020 has been analysed at 6490 tonnes, which reveals growth by 24.13% and earnings to pick up and remain at $13.44 million.
The major trading nations for France export of aluminium powder and flakes are Belgium, Brazil, China, Canada, Czech Rep., Germany, Israel, Italy, Japan, Netherlands, Romania, Sweden, etc.
