SEF Equipments in Saguenay creates an Aluminium hand washing station, the “HYM”

Nicolas Guay, SEF Equipments, explains: “I went to shops in town and saw stations that didn't do the job. It was leaking everywhere; you had to weigh a button with one hand. I told myself that we could surely do better. While designing, I thought about companies that have to dedicate manpower for filling, which doesn't make good sense in a time of manpower shortage, so I wanted them to make life easier. The terminals can go up to 50,000 washes without filling. Our automatic kiosks are made for supermarkets and institutions.”

HYM: An aluminium hand washing station

Nicolas has just launched this product made of aluminium. The HYM terminals were also in a period of external tests, at the micro-festival “On brasse la région”, held in recent days in the Chicoutimi port area.

“We start the sales period for the product. I think it will meet a need because hand washing is here to stay for a long time. The terminals can also be adapted to the image of the company or the institution”, points out the designer, Nicolas Guay.

People seemed to appreciate the HYM terminal installed at the entrance to the micro-festival site and especially the frost. “It smells good,” says a festival-goer, sniffing the Pur Boréal hand sanitizer made by the Beemer Distillery.

“We remain regional,” says Nicolas Guay, who wanted to use this gel produced in Saguenay-Lac-Saint-Jean.
