As updated by Shanghai Metals Market, average spot alumina price in China has risen from RMB 2543 per tonne on February 27 to RMB 2565 per tonne on February 28. This marks an increase of RMB 22 per tonne or 0.87 per cent on Friday.
The prices of alumina in East, Central, and North China markets have climbed by RMB 30 per tonne, RMB 20 per tonne and RMB 20 per tonne to stand at RMB 2570 per tonne, RMB 2565 per tonne, and RMB 2580 per tonne. Alumina-South remains unchanged at RMB 2520 per tonne.
Australian alumina FOB price stands USD 2 per tonne higher on Friday, 28 February 2020. The price stands at USD 301 per tonne.
Al Fluoride and Cryolite prices in China have registered a big jump today. Al Fluoride price stands at RMB 9100 per tonne, up RMB 500 per tonne. Cryolite price has increased by RMB 150 per tonne to RMB 5750 per tonne. Their average prices are expected to range within RMB 9000-9200 per tonne and RMB 5500-6000 per tonne.
A00 aluminium ingot price has decreased by RMB 220 per tonne from RMB 13390 per tonne on February 27 and stood at RMB 13170 per tonne today. This marks the second consecutive fall of aluminium ingot prices. The price is expected to move within a range of RMB 13150 per tonne-13190 per tonne. Spot aluminium price is likely to be traded at a discount of RMB 80-40 per tonne.
The aluminium alloy (ADC12) price is down by RMB 100 per tonne to RMB 14850 per tonne today. The price is expected to range at RMB 14750 per tonne-14950 per tonne. The prices of aluminium alloys in East, South, and West have dropped to stand at RMB 14850 per tonne, RMB 14750 per tonne, and RMB 14550 per tonne.
The Aluminium alloy (A380) and Aluminium alloy (A356) prices have reduced by RMB 100 per tonne and RMB 200 per tonne to RMB 15800 per tonne and RMB 13900 per tonne. Their prices are expected to range at RMB 15700-15900 per tonne and RMB 13850-13950 per tonne.
