LME aluminium opened at US$2,341 per tonne on Monday, with its high and low at US$2,372 per tonne and US$2,323 per tonne, respectively, before closing at US$2,365 per tonne, an increase of US$21 per tonne or 0.9 per cent.
On Monday, March 27, both LME aluminium cash bid price and LME aluminium official settlement price increased by US$33 per tonne or 1.45 per cent to halt at US$2,297 per tonne and US$2,298 per tonne.
3-month bid price and 3-month offer price grew by US$28 per tonne or 1.21 per cent and US$27.5 per tonne or 1.18 per cent to peg at US$2,340 per tonne and US$2,340.50 per tonne.
December 24 bid price and December 24 offer price gained US$25 per tonne or 0.99 per cent to close at US$2,538 per tonne and US$2,543 per tonne.
LME aluminium opening stock settled at 527875 tonnes. Live warrants and Cancelled warrants totalled 423700 tonnes and 104175 tonnes.
LME aluminium 3-month Asian Reference Price dipped by US$5.52 per tonne or 0.23 per cent to halt at US$2,340.62 per tonne.
SHFE aluminium price
On March 28, the SHFE aluminium benchmark price has grown by US$19 per tonne or 0.70 per cent to reside at US$2,702 per tonne.
The most-traded SHFE 2305 aluminium closed up 0.54 per cent or RMB 100 per tonne at RMB 18,480 per tonne, with open interest down 7,962 lots to 215,165 lots.
The most-traded SHFE 2305 aluminium contract opened at RMB 18,520 per tonne overnight, with its high and low at RMB 18,585 per tonne and RMB 18,520 per tonne before closing at RMB 18,575 per tonne, up RMB 95 per tonne, or 0.51 per cent.
