China’s A00 aluminium ingot price gains RMB110/t to RMB18,440/t; Average alumina price moves down by RMB4/t

On Wednesday, March 1, China's A00 aluminium ingot price has gained RMB 110 per tonne to settle at RMB 18,440 per tonne, with the spot contract price expected to be traded at a discount price of RMB 110 per tonne to RMB 70 per tonne. The average prices will likely range between RMB 18,420 per tonne and RMB 18,460 per tonne.

The A00 aluminium ingot price has shown changes in some of the provinces of China. As per the data, the prices in Foshan and Gongyi have hiked by RMB 130 per tonne and RMB 100 per tonne to close at RMB 18,460 per tonne and RMB 18,360 per tonne. On the other hand, in provinces like Wuxi and Hangzhou, the prices have gone down by RMB 5 per tonne to come in at RMB 18,320 per tonne and RMB 18,340 per tonne. On the same day, the prices in Chongqing, Shenyang, Tianjin and other provinces have remained muted at RMB 18,380 per tonne, RMB 18,330 per tonne and RMB 18,380 per tonne.

The average alumina spot price has moved down by RMB 4 per tonne to reside at RMB 2,942 per tonne. The price in Guangxi has dropped by RMB 5 per tonne to peg at RMB 2,860 per tonne. However, the prices in other provinces have remained the same.

China's low carbon aluminium price has ascended by RMB 130 per tonne to halt at RMB 19,032 per tonne. The high purity aluminium (99.99%) price and high purity aluminium (99.996%) price have increased by RMB 100 per tonne to stand at RMB 26,200 per tonne and RMB 27, 200 per tonne.

The aluminium alloy (A356) price has grown by RMB 100 per tonne to clock at RMB 19,500 per tonne, with the average prices standing between RMB 19,300 per tonne and RMB 19,700 per tonne. The aluminium alloys (ADC12) price and aluminium alloy (A380) price have shown no change to settle at RMB 19,650 per tonne and RMB 20,650 per tonne.

The aluminium powder price has inched up by RMB 0.1 per kg to reside at RMB 20.2 per kg, with the average prices standing between RMB 20.1 per kg and RMB 20.3 per kg.
