Aluminium beverage cans are the most sustainable beverage packaging material. It is made from aluminium and has a higher recycling rate and more recycled content than competing package types. Furthermore, aluminium cans are lightweight, stackable and strong, allowing brands to package and transport more beverages using less material.

However, the packaged food producers have so far witnessed the negligible impact of decades-high inflation on demand, particularly in the United States, as people prefer spending on forking at home rather than visiting restaurants.

The international cola giant’s biggest contender PepsiCo Inc. stated a few days back that the company has not witnessed any slowdown in consumption demand despite its price hikes. Hence, there is space for prices to soar.

The 2022 forecast from Coca-Cola spotlighted organic revenue to rise 12%-13% compared to the previous expectation of 7%-8% growth. The company’s net income rose 12% to $11.3 billion in Q2 2022. According to Refinitiv IBES data, analysts predicted revenue of around $10.55 billion.
