China’s A00 aluminium ingot price shoots RMB330/t up the scale; Guinea Bauxite CIF price rises by US$2/t

A00 aluminium ingot price has seen a substantial hike of RMB 330 per tonne to begin the week at RMB 18,360 per tonne, as recorded by the Shanghai Metals Market on Thursday, July 28. The average prices are expected to range between RMB 18,340 per tonne and RMB 18,380 per tonne, with spot contracts to be traded at a discount price of RMB 50 per tonne and RMB 10 per tonne.

The provinces in China have witnessed booming prices today, with A00 aluminium ingot prices rising the highest in Foshan by RMB 340 per tonne to RMB 18,280 per tonne. The primary aluminium prices in Wuxi and Hangzhou have gained RMB 320 per tonne to rest at RMB 18,340 per tonne and RMB 18,380 per tonne, respectively. The price in Chongqing has grown by RMB 310 per tonne to halt at RMB 18,330 per tonne. Shenyang has seen RMB 300 per tonne rise in the ingot price to stop at RMB 18,330 per tonne, followed by Gongyi witnessing RMB 290 per tonne increment to RMB 18,250 per tonne. The price of aluminium ingot in Tianjin increased RMB 280 per tonne to stabilize at RMB 18,340 per tonne. Primary aluminium price has increased the least in Linyi by RMB 270 per tonne, closing at RMB 18,360 per tonne.

In China, the domestic price of low-carbon aluminium has expanded by RMB 337 per tonne to stand at RMB 18,873 per tonne on Thursday, July 28.

According to the data shown by SMM, high purity aluminium (99.99%) price and high purity aluminium (99.996%) price have been augmented by RMB 300 per tonne each to rest at RMB 26,300 per tonne and RMB 27,300 per tonne, respectively.

Among input costs, the price of Guinea Bauxite CIF has escalated by US$2 per tonne to settle at US$67 per tonne.

The aluminium alloy (A356) price has shot up by RMB 300 per tonne arriving at RMB 19,450 per tonne. The average prices are likely to range between RMB 19,300 per tonne and RMB 19,600 per tonne, says SMM.

The prices of aluminium alloys (ADC12) and aluminium alloy (A380) have both risen by RMB 150 per tonne recording RMB 18,600 per tonne and RMB 17,600 per tonne, respectively.

The aluminium powder price in China has gained RMB 0.30 per kg to settle at RMB 20.10 per kg, with average prices ranging between RMB 20 per kg and 20.20 per kg.
