A00 aluminium ingot price in China augments by RMB260/t; Low carbon aluminium price grows by RMB250/t

On Friday, July 29, China’s A00 aluminium ingot price has augmented by RMB 260 per tonne to settle at RMB 18,620 per tonne. The average price for the same is expected to orbit between RMB 18,600 per tonne and RMB 18,640 per tonne, with spot contracts to be traded at a discount price of RMB 50 to RMB 10 per tonne.

A substantial increment has been observed in all the provinces in China, with Gongyi and Wuxi witnessing the highest increment by RMB 270 per tonne, to halt at RMB 18,520 per tonne and RMB 18,610 per tonne. The price in Hangzhou has also recorded the same hike to rest at RMB 18,650 per tonne. As per the SMM data, the price of Linyi has spiked by RMB 260 per tonne to score at RMB 18,620 per tonne. On the same day, the A00 aluminium ingot price in Shenyang and Chongqing has hiked by RMB 240 per tonne to stand at RMB 18,570 per tonne, respectively. In Foshan and Tianjin, the price has surged by RMB 230 per tonne to close at RMB 18,510 per tonne and RMB 18,570 per tonne.

The domestic price of low carbon aluminium in China has also grown by RMB 250 per tonne to settle at RMB 19,123 per tonne. Both high purity aluminium (99.99%) price and high purity aluminium (99.996%) price has heightened by RMB 300 per tonne to close at RMB 26,600 per tonne and RMB 27,600 per tonne.

Aluminium alloys (ADC12) price and (A380) price have surged by RMB 500 per tonne to settle at RMB 18,100 per tonne and RMB 19,100 per tonne. The average price for (ADC12) is expected to stand between RMB 18,000 per tonne and RMB 18,200 per tonne. For (A380), the average price is expected to orbit between RMB 19,000 per tonne and RMB 19,200 per tonne.

Aluminium alloy (A356) price has also ascended by RMB 250 per tonne to record at RMB 19,700 per tonne. The average price for the same is expected to range between RMB 19,600 per tonne and RMB 19,800 per tonne.

China's aluminium powder price has increased by RMB 0.2 per kg to halt at RMB 20.3 per kg, with average prices ranging between RMB 20.2 per kg and RMB 20.4 per kg.
