Hungarian aluminium structures exports are buoyed by a robust light metal market from 2019 through 2021 but show a slight decline of 1.6% in 2022

The metal aluminium is now extensively used in building and construction due to its inherent property of lightness and corrosion resistance. It is applied in the form of external facades, roofs and walls, windows and doors, staircases, railings, shelves and other several applications. Aluminium is also broadly utilized in airframe structures and is increasingly being used in automotive frames to diminish weight and enhance fuel efficiency.

Hungarian aluminium structures exports are buoyed by a robust light metal market

An export-driven economy, Hungary revealed that the global slowdown and fluctuating demand in its primary export markets have harmed economic growth, particularly in the export-orientated automotive and consumer electronics sectors.

The Central-European nation Hungary exported 56,016 tonnes of aluminium structures from 2019-to 21, attracting foreign revenue earnings of around $312.70 million from the export of the aluminium products.

Hungarian aluminium structures exports

In 2019, Hungary exported aluminium structures of 16,758 tonnes, incurring a revenue inflow of $99.02 million, whereas, in 2020, the export illustrated demand surge by 14.81%, as the export volume soared to 19,240 tonnes, while the earnings grew in small pace to $100.07 million.

Hungary’s aluminium structures export in 2021 was recorded at 20,018 tonnes, exhibited a 3.88% growth and the earnings rose to $113.61 million.

The export for the aluminium structures in 2022 is analysed with a dip of 1.6%, as the export volume is anticipated to be 19,681 tonnes and the revenue earnings to stand at $112.85 million.
