Ball Beverage Packaging receives the Performance Standard and Chain of Custody Standard Certification from Aluminium Stewardship Initiative (ASI) to safely manufacture, store and supply aluminium can bodies, can ends and aluminium bottles. 25 Facilities across Canada, Mexico and USA belonging to the company are eligible for aluminium stewardship.

Ball Beverage a subsidiary of the above stated organisation works around the Northern and Southern belt of America and this grant is for facilities surrounding the place. This sustainable and voluntary Standard Certification initiative by ASI was developed through an elaborate consultation process held by multi-stake holders. It is the most profound distinction awarded to any company who can meet the criteria of the Certification board. Its only aim is to increase sustainability, carbon neutrality and put environmental, social and governmental principles before anything else. Under the three sustainability pillars, Governance, Environmental and Social, it sets out 59 criteria which further track biodiversity, rights of indigenous people, and greenhouse gas emissions. A chain of Custody is formed with the help of the certification board and the safe handling of aluminium is possible. The standards set by ASI enables certified organisations to continue safe trading. The implementation of the ASI CoC Standard means verified stewardship practices for the company along the certified aluminium chain or other ASI certified entities.
A 194 years old French company, Bureau Veritas operating from Antwerp, Belgium is the third party auditor for Ball Beverages. They have meticulously calculated and submitted the accounts of the company in question.
