Average alumina spot price in China dips by RMB 27/t to RMB 3,278/t; A00 aluminium ingot price slips by RMB 230/t

On Wednesday, Thursday 23, the average alumina spot price in China has gone down by RMB 27 per tonne to score at RMB 3,278 per tonne, finds the Shanghai Metals Market.

For the same day in Shandong and Henan the price has moved down by RMB 5 per tonne to settle at RMB 3,295 per tonne and RMB 3,315 per tonne. In Shanxi as well the price has decreased by RMB 60 per tonne to peg at RMB 3,250 per tonne. On the other hand, in provinces like Guizhou and Guangxi the price has remained unchanged to register at RMB 3,300 per tonne and RMB 3,190 per tonne, for the same day. According to the Shanghai Metals Market, the average alumina spot price in Lianyungang and Bayuquan has also remained restrained to record at RMB 3,125 per tonne and RMB 3,250 per tonne.

The Australian alumina FOB price has dropped by US$4 per tonne to settle at US$425 per tonne.

According to the Shanghai Metals Market, the A00 aluminium ingot price in China has slumped by RMB 230 per tonne to total at RMB 22,700 per tonne. The average prices are likely to orbit between RMB 22,680 per tonne and RMB 22,720 per tonne, with spot contract to be traded at a premium price of RMB 80-40 per tonne.

In Gongyi and Chongqing, the price has plummeted by RMB 230 per tonne to close at RMB 22,500 per tonne and RMB 22,620 per tonne. In Shenyang, Linyi and Tianjin the price has dipped by RMB 220 per tonne to total at RMB 22,660 per tonne for the same day, respectively. In Hangzhou, the price has descended by RMB 220 per tonne to score at RMB 22,700 per tonne. In Foshan and Wuxi, the price has descended by RMB 240 per tonne and RMB 225 per tonne to close at RMB 22,740 per tonne and RMB 22,690 per tonne.

The aluminium alloy (ADC12) price has showed remained unchanged to peg at RMB 22,450 per tonne, for the same day. On the other hand, aluminium alloy (A356) price has fallen by RMB 200 per tonne to peg at RMB 24,050 per tonne. The average price for the same is expected to range between RMB 23,950 per tonne and RMB 24,150 per tonne.

Aluminium alloy (A380) price has slumped by RMB 200 per tonne to register at RMB 23,450 per tonne. The average price for the same is expected to range between RMB 23,350 per tonne and RMB 23,550 per tonne.
