Average alumina spot price in China remains unchanged to peg at RMB 2,809/t; A00 aluminium ingot price hikes by RMB 140/t

On Wednesday, December 29, the average alumina spot price in China remained restrained to close at RMB 2,809 per tonne, found the Shanghai Metals Market.

For the same day in Shanxi and Lianyungang, the price has remained restrained to come in at RMB 2,815 per tonne and RMB 2,875 per tonne, respectively. In Bayuquan as well the price has remained unchanged to total at RMB 2,925 per tonne. In Shandong, the price has remained unchanged to stand at RMB 2,870 per tonne, on the other hand in Henan; the price has remained the same to peg at RMB 2,820 per tonne.  The average alumina spot price in Guizhou and Guangxi has also stood unchanged, for the same day. The price for the same has been recorded at RMB 2,780 per tonne and RMB 2,700 per tonne.

According to the Shanghai Metals Market, the A00 aluminium ingot price has surged by RMB 140 per tonne to clock at RMB 19,920 per tonne. The average price for the same is expected to range between RMB 19,900 per tonne and RMB 19,940 per tonne, with spot contact to be traded at a premium price of RMB 70-30 per tonne.

In Wuxi and Hangzhou, the price has escalated by RMB 140 per tonne to peg at RMB 19,920 per tonne and RMB 19,950 per tonne, respectively.  On the other hand in Gongyi and Foshan, the price has gone up by RMB 130 per tonne and RMB 120 per tonne. The price for the same has been recorded at RMB 19,850 per tonne and RMB 19,950 per tonne. The A00 aluminium ingot price in Tianjin and Linyi has hiked by RMB 150 per tonne and RMB 170 per tonne, to come in at RMB 19,930 per tonne and RMB 20,030 per tonne. In Chongqing, the price has gone up by RMB 140 per tonne to stand at RMB 19,950 per tonne. In Shenyang, the price has climbed up by RMB 180 per tonne to peg at RMB 19,930 per tonne.

The aluminium alloy price (A356) has moved up by RMB 100 per tonne to close at RMB 21,850 per tonne. The average price for the same is expected to range between RMB 21,800 per tonne and RMB 21,900 per tonne.

The aluminium alloy price (ADC12) remained unchanged to come in at RMB 20,450 per tonne. The average price for the same is expected to orbit between RMB 20,350 per tonne and RMB 20,550 per tonne. For (A380), the price remained restrained to peg at RMB 21,650 per tonne. The average price for the same is expected to range between RMB 21,550 per tonne and RMB 21,750 per tonne.
