According to the Shanghai Metals Market, social inventories of primary aluminium elevated by 26,000 tonnes to close at 815,000 tonnes on the week across eight major consumption areas, along with SHFE warrants. The increase was mostly due to Wuxi and Nanhai.
Last week on September 23, primary aluminium inventories were recorded at 789,000 tonnes by gaining 23,000 tonnes from the previous week.

In Nanhai primary aluminium inventories moved up by 7000 tonnes to close at 244,000 tonnes and in Wuxi it increased by 19,000 tonnes to settle at 266,000 tonnes.
On the other hand in Gongyi, primary aluminium inventories dropped 10,000 tonnes to settle at 61,000 tonnes. In Chongqing and Linyi, inventories remained the same at 3,000 tonnes and 14,000 tonnes respectively.
