China’s aluminium alloys prices shrink by RMB100/t on June 30; A00 aluminium ingot price drops to RMB18780/t

Aluminium alloys prices in China have recorded a plunge today, on June 30, found the Shanghai Metals Market. After remaining restrained for a week, aluminium alloys (ADC12) price and aluminium alloy (A380) price have decreased by RMB 100 per tonne to settle at RMB 18,200 per tonne and RMB 19,200 per tonne, respectively. Their average prices are expected to range between RMB 18,100-18,300 per tonne and RMB 19,100-19,300 per tonne.

Aluminium alloy (A356) price has also registered a decline of RMB 100 per tonne to come in at RMB 19,350 per tonne as of June 30, following a restraint for a day. The average prices are likely to range between RMB 19,300-19,400 per tonne.

A00 aluminium ingot price has also decreased across the major markets in China, found SMM. As of Wednesday, China’s primary aluminium ingot price has dropped by RMB 40 per tonne to come in at RMB 18,780 per tonne. The average prices are expected to range between RMB 18,760 per tonne and RMB 18,800 per tonne, with spot contract to be traded at a premium price of RMB 60-20 per tonne.

In Chongqing and Shenyang, A00 aluminium ingot price has dwindled by RMB 50 per tonne to RMB 18,765 per tonne and RMB 18,750 per tonne, respectively. The price in Linyi and Hangzhou is also standing at RMB 18,765 per tonne but by losing RMB 45 per tonne and RMB 35 per tonne, respectively. In Gongyi and Tianjin, A00 aluminium ingot price has slipped by RMB 40 per tonne to RMB 18,660 per tonne and RMB 18,740 per tonne, while the price in Hangzhou has inched down by RMB 30 per tonne to stand at RMB 18,760 per tonne, respectively.
