RUSAL appoints Roman Andryushin as Deputy CEO for sales in Russia, the CIS and China; Steve Hodgson returns as Director of Sales and Marketing

On 29^th April 2021, RUSAL announced that it has appointed Roman Andryushin as Deputy CEO of for sales in Russia, the CIS and China. The Company is also gratified to see the return of Steve Hodgson as Director of Sales and Marketing.

The dual appointments are an indication of the Company’s refreshed and innovative growth plans.

Roman Andryushin in his new role will be shouldering the responsibility for developing one of the strategic sales areas – the domestic market, introducing new innovative products manufactured by RUSAL, as well as managing export sales to China and interacting with RUSAL's key traders. This appointment will strengthen the Company's presence in these markets and will deliver fresh input to the development of RUSAL's sales process.

Since 2000, Roman Andryushin has been working for RUSAL. He was appointed as Chief Operating Officer and Chief Financial Officer of RUSAL Marketing GmbH in 2007. However, from 2014 to 2018, he held the role of Sales Director for the Russian and CIS markets, while from 2018 to the present day, he led the sales and marketing team of RUSAL.

Steve Hodgson will be accountable for commercial operations and aluminium sales in the European, Asian and American markets. He will also continue the commercialization of RUSAL’s low carbon aluminium ALLOW. Hodgson joined RUSAL in 2002 initially as Sales Director, then, from 2004 to March 2006, he remained as the Director of the Alumina division. From 2006 to 2007, he was the head of the RUSAL representative office in Australia. From 2010 to 2012, he worked as Director of International Sales and, from 2012 to 2018, was the Director of Sales and Marketing.
