LME aluminium price climbed $13.5/t to hover at $1975/t; SHFE rose for the fourth consecutive day to $2500/t

The LME complex rose on Friday, November 27, with aluminium climbed up by 1.65 per cent. Benchmark aluminium price on the London Metal Exchange rose by 0.69 per cent on November 27 from US$ 1961.50 per tonne on Thursday, November 26.

Both LME aluminium cash (bid) price and LME official settlement price rebounded to US$ 1975 per tonne, growing by US$ 13.50 per tonne on Friday, November 27. 3-months bid price and 3-months offer price stood at US$ 1988.50 per tonne, up by US$ 10.50 per tonne from US$ 1978 per tonne on November 26. Dec 21 bid price and Dec 21 offer price came in at US$ 2010.50 per tonne.

The LME aluminium opening stock declined from 1383250 tonnes on November 26 to 1378025 on November 27. Live Warrants hovered at 1216725 tonnes, while Cancelled Warrants at 161300 tonnes.

LME aluminium 3-months Asian Reference Price stood at US$ 1984.99 per tonne, as of Friday, November 27.

SHFE Aluminium Price Trend

Benchmark aluminium price for SHFE increased for the fourth consecutive day to stand at US$ 2500 per tonne on Monday, November 30.

Shanghai base metals rose across the board on last Friday night, with aluminium increased by 1.12 per cent.
