Turkey’s Bauxite exportation during 2018-20 reflects an enterprising market

Turkey's export of Bauxite

The bauxite deposits of Turkey are mainly concentrated in eight provinces, six of which are located in the Anatolide–Tauride, one in the Arabian Platform and one in the Pontides. The nation’s bauxite exportation during 2018-19 reflects positive development, as the export volume stood at 2.71 million tonnes and earnings stood at $107.16 million. The estimated export volume for 2020 has been marked at 1.65 million tonnes and earnings to outreach at $67.87 million. However, when the 2020 export volume and earnings get assorted with the previous two years, it exhibits 4.36 million tonnes and $175.03 million respectively.

Turkey’s bauxite export in 2018 was recorded at 1.14 million tonnes with earnings stood at $51.50 million, whereas in 2019 the export was reported with growth by 37.71%, as the export volume rose to 1.57 tonnes and earnings also grew by 8.07% and stood at $55.66 million.

The projected bauxite export for 2020 has also been analysed with a positive growth by 5.09%, as the export volume to climb at 1.65 million tonnes and earnings to pick-up momentum by 21.93% and stand at $67.87 million.

Turkey’s major trading nations for exportation of bauxite are Rep. of Moldova, China, Austria, Poland, Peru, Canada, Croatia, France, Georgia, Greece, Iran, Ireland, Israel, Kuwait, Slovenia, Ukraine, UK, USA, etc.
