Vedanta’s Jharsuguda smelter plant introduces innovative Monsoon Preparedness Center (MPC)

Vedanta’s Jharsuguda plant has launched an innovative Monsoon Preparedness Center (MPC) in its aluminium smelters and power plants. The plant is equipped with required gear and apparatus to bolster emergency planning and rescue preparedness.

The Center MPC will monitor data from across the length and breadth of the plant for rapid action in emergency scenarios, particularly during unpredictable monsoons.

As Vedanta’s fire services partner, we work closely with the HSE team to ensure all safeguards for the Jharsuguda plant, which is India’s largest aluminium smelter.”
