The estimated import for 2020 has been analysed at 62,745 tonnes and the revenue expenditure to surge at $77.95 million. When the projected import volume and expenditure of 2020 gets merged with the previous three years it reflects 160,551 tonnes and $210.02 million respectively.
Greece import of aluminium scrap in 2017 has remained 23,735 tonnes and revenue expenditure was recorded at $30.38 million, whereas in 2018 the import saw growth by 25.65%, as the import volume stood at 29,825 tonnes and expenditure rose to $45.27 million.
In 2019, the aluminium scrap import again indicated pick-up by 48.35%, as the import volume stood to 44,246 tonnes and expenditure also climbed to $56.60 million.
The projected import for 2020 has been also analysed with growth by 41.80%, as the import volume might reach at 62,745 tonnes, the highest in the phase.
The major exporting nations for Greece import of aluminium scrap are Albania, Australia, Belgium, Bulgaria, Canada, Chile, Croatia, Germany, Hong Kong, Ireland, Italy, etc.
